A photo from an Illinois couple’s wedding has gone viral, but the newlyweds aren’t the only ones in the picture.
Their six-year-old Labrador Retriever, Boone, decided to strike a hilarious pose in front of them while the couple was reciting their vows.
The two are in no way surprised since Boone normally likes to be the center of attention.
“He’s a really well-trained dog,” Conway told TODAY. “I planned for him to stand between me and my brother. Boone was technically the best man, but he couldn’t really give a speech so I thought I should give my brother a shot,” he joked.
Luckily, their photographer, Chris Davis of ‘Good Road Photography,’ was able to snap a photo of this priceless moment.
The picture quickly went viral with more than 50,000 shares and several different news outlets picking it up.
While the picture was blowing up on social media, the newlyweds were on their honeymoon in Utah with no cell service.
“We didn’t really know it went viral until recently,” Conway told TODAY. “Last thing we knew, our friend, the photographer, texted us the photo on the night of our wedding and we were just dying laughing.”
Jayce Conway and Angie Blumberg, who married in Montana on July 28, have known each other since preschool. They lost touch but wound up reconnecting at a friend’s wedding five years ago, and the rest is history!
There’s no doubt that the couple will have many more laughs with their furry best friend by their side!
